Bellville at a glance
Bellville is a well established residential, commercial and industrial node in the Western Cape province of South Africa and is now part of the greater Cape Town metropolitan area. The suburb is located 25 kilometres outside of the centre of Cape Town in the vicinity of Stellenbosch, in the Tygerberg hills, and is well known for its mesmerising scenery above the Winelands and the Stellenbosch Mountains.
Entertainment
One of Bellville’s most renowned attractions is the Tygerberg Nature Reserve, which allows you to enjoy a 7.5-kilometre hike with superb views over the peninsula. This residential area has so much to offer, including theatres, popular nightclubs, bars, restaurants and eateries, all of which contribute to its rich nightlife reputation.
For golf lovers, the Bellville Golf Club is located in this sheltered valley and contains spectacular views of the Hottentots Holland mountain range. The 6,000-metre 18-hole par 72 course takes you on a guided tour covering many deceptive bunkers and five perfectly-placed water hazards (following the natural run of the land.)

Tyger Valley Shopping Centre is located in the sprawling retail heart of Tygerberg, with 275 shops. Here you can also find a banking centre with bureau de change facilities, medical and dental facilities, a 10-cinema complex and a large entertainment arena, among other attractions.
