SONA 2020 needs positivity, resilience and a can-do attitude

As we head into the halfway mark for the first quarter of 2020, the State of Nation Address (SONA) address gives us an opportunity to pause and evaluate the progress we are making in this challenging local economy. A clear plan of action, much like what we need from SONA, is how success is achieved; addressing the challenges, managing the market realities, and recognising that there are plentiful opportunities for those willing to work hard and be innovative. 

The very real challenges we face as a country going into the State of the Nation address, in terms of power, corruption, unemployment and a struggling economy. Should not let us forget South Africa still holds much promise.
